The devastating impact of Stalinism and WWII on the Latvian people told through the fate of one family now living in three different countries and speaking three different languages.
Born in the Republic of Latvia, Jānis Ozoliņš-Ozols, is a connoisseur of the visual world, working in theater, television, short film, and documentary. His early focus was on Latvian television, where he made and presented several television programs, and began to make several works of video art which he calls video-provocation. Ozolins-Ozols is an UNESCO collaborator in various works to promote Spanish culture around the world. His documentary “With Spain in the Heart” led him to festivals throughout Europe, from Spain to Sweden. His short film “Photo” was selected in the Berlin and the Moscow Film Festival.
