Dear friend of the Baltics,
On Thursday, May 3, we have a chance to meet with our Senators and Representatives and make our Baltic voices heard in Congress!

The American Latvian Association (ALA) and Joint Baltic American National Committee (JBANC) are organizing a Baltic Capitol Hill Day for us to meet with our elected officials, to raise issues important for us as Baltic-Americans. We need to inform Congress especially on economic and security matters to protect U.S. interests in the Baltics on a bi-partisan basis.
ALA and JBANC will make it very easy for us to participate–they will schedule the visits, provide talking points, offer a how-to preparatory session and give printed materials.
The event coincides with ALA’s annual meeting, this year in Washington DC, May 4-6, so we will have a good crowd of participants.
To sign up, please contact us by March 30, to ensure enough time to schedule visits:
Eriks Lazdins,
Dzintars Dzilna,
More information will follow for participants.
Please forward this to your own Baltic friends and family!
We look forward to hearing from you!
To participate in calls to action to inform Congress about Baltic issues throughout the year, sign up for ALA’s Call to Action UNIT at ALA’s site:  (click on the Call to Action banner)
